Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken cutlets – pounded thin
- 🍞 Sandwich bread – shokupan preferred
- 🥚 Eggs – for dredging
- 🍚 Panko breadcrumbs – for coating
- 🥬 Cabbage – shredded
- 🍶 Tonkatsu sauce – for serving
Instructions
- 🐔 Prepare chicken: pound, dredge in flour, egg, and panko.
- 🔥 Fry chicken: heat oil and fry until golden and cooked through.
- 🍞 Toast bread: lightly toast sandwich bread slices.
- 🥬 Assemble sando: spread tonkatsu sauce on bread, add cabbage, chicken katsu, and top slice.
- 🔪 Cut & serve: cut in half and serve immediately.
