Ingredients

  • 🥩 Ground lamb or beef – 1 lb
  • 🌶️ Red bell pepper – 1, finely chopped
  • 🧅 Onion – 1, grated
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Parsley – 1/4 cup, chopped
  • 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1 tsp (optional)
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🥄 Olive oil – for grilling

Instructions

  • 🔪 Combine ground meat, red bell pepper, onion, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), and salt in a bowl.
  • 👐 Knead the mixture well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture is sticky.
  • 🍢 Shape the meat mixture onto wide, flat skewers.
  • 🔥 Grill the Adana kebabs over charcoal, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  • ♨️ Serve hot with pita bread, grilled vegetables, and yogurt sauce.
