Ingredients
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 2 cups
- 🍋 Lemon zest – 1 tsp
- 🥚 Egg yolks – 6 large
- 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup + more for topping
- ✨ Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Heat cream with lemon zest.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
- 🥛 Gradually add warm cream to egg mixture, stirring constantly. Add vanilla.
- 🥣 Pour mixture into ramekins and bake in a water bath for 30-35 minutes.
- ❄️ Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize with a torch 🔥.
