Ingredients
- 🐖 Pork shoulder – 3 lbs
- 🥓 Pork belly – 1 lb
- 🦴 Pork bones – 2 lbs
- 💧 Water – 12 cups
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large
- 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Chili flakes – to taste
- 🍜 Ramen noodles – to serve
- 🥚 Soft boiled eggs – to serve
- 🌿 Green onions – to garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork shoulder and pork belly. Boil pork bones to create a broth.
- 🥘 Combine seared pork, pork bones, onion, garlic, and water in a large pot. Simmer for 3-4 hours.
- 🔪 Shred the pork. Strain the broth and season with salt and chili flakes.
- 🍜 Cook ramen noodles according to package directions.
- 🥣 Assemble bowls with noodles, broth, carnitas, soft boiled egg, and green onions.
