Ingredients

  • 🍝 Spaghetti – 8 oz
  • 🧀 Pecorino Romano – 4 oz, grated
  • 🖤 Black Pepper – 2 tsp, freshly ground
  • 💧 Pasta Water – 1 cup, reserved

Instructions

  • 💧 Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, reserving pasta water.
  • 🔥 Toast black pepper in a dry pan until fragrant.
  • 🧀 In a bowl, gradually mix grated pecorino romano with some reserved pasta water to form a smooth paste.
  • 🍝 Add cooked spaghetti to the cheese mixture, tossing quickly to coat.
  • 🖤 Add toasted black pepper and more pasta water if needed to create a creamy sauce. Serve immediately.
