Ingredients
- 🦴 Beef bones – 2 lbs
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, quartered
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
- 💧 Water – 8 cups
- 🍎 Apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Roast bones at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes for deeper flavor.
- 🥘 Place roasted bones, onion, carrots, and celery in a large stockpot.
- 💧 Add water and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 4 hours.
- 🥄 Skim off any foam that rises to the surface during simmering.
- 🧂 Season with salt and pepper to taste. Strain broth before serving.
