Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 1 cup, lukewarm

- 🌱 Yeast – 2 tsp active dry
- 🍋 Lemon zest – 1 tsp
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
- 🍩 Powdered sugar – for dusting
Instructions
- 🌱 Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar.
- 🥣 Combine flour, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and lemon zest. Add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- ⏳ Let dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled.
- 🔪 Roll out dough and cut into circles. Let rest for 15 minutes.
- 🔥 Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy! 🍩
