Ingredients

  • 🐟 Bombil (Bombay Duck) – cleaned and filleted
  • 🌶️ Red Chili Powder – for spice
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice – for flavor
  • 🫘 Gram Flour (Besan) – for coating
  • 🍚 Rice Flour – for crispiness
  • 🌿 Ginger-Garlic Paste – for flavor
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • ☀️ Turmeric Powder – a pinch
  • 🌱 Oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate bombil in lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, and salt.
  • ⏳ Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • ✨ In a separate bowl, mix gram flour and rice flour with a pinch of salt and chili powder.
  • 🐟 Coat each bombil piece in the flour mixture.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the bombil until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot!
