Ingredients
- 🥚 Eggs – large, free-range
- 🧀 Gruyère Cheese – grated
- 🥛 Heavy Cream – full-fat
- 🍄 Black Truffle – thinly sliced or truffle oil
- 🍞 Bread – thick slices, brioche or similar
- 🧈 Butter – unsalted
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🍞 Butter the bread and toast lightly.
- 🥚 Whisk eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 🧀 Add Gruyère cheese to the egg mixture.
- 🔥 Melt butter in a pan, pour in egg mixture and cook over low heat, stirring gently.
- 🍄 Once the eggs are softly set, top with black truffle slices or drizzle with truffle oil. Serve immediately with toasted bread.
