Ingredients
- ⚫ Black rice – 1 cup
- 🐟 Seafood (shrimp, mussels, clams) – 1 lb
- 🐔 Chicken or chorizo – 1/2 cup, diced
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Bell pepper – 1/2, chopped
- 🌿 Saffron threads – a pinch
- 🥘 Fish or chicken broth – 4 cups
- 🍋 Lemon wedges – for serving
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper in a paella pan with olive oil.
- 🐔 Add chicken or chorizo and cook until browned.
- 🥘 Stir in black rice and saffron, then add fish broth. Bring to a boil.
- 🐟 Add seafood. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is cooked and seafood is done.
- 🍋 Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot.
