Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
  • 🍗 Chicken/Mutton/Veg – 500g
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Green Chilies – 2-3, slit
  • 🌿 Mint & Coriander Leaves – handful
  • 🥄 Biryani Masala – 3 tbsp
  • 🥛 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
  • 🧈 Ghee/Oil – 4 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Fry onions until golden brown. Keep aside.
  • 🥣 Marinate main ingredient with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and biryani masala for 30 mins.
  • 🍚 Layer rice, marinated main ingredient, fried onions, mint, and coriander in a pot.
  • 💧 Add water and cook on low heat until rice is cooked and meat is tender.
  • ✨ Garnish with saffron (optional) and serve hot.
