Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
- 🍗 Chicken/Mutton/Veg – 500g
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 2-3, slit
- 🌿 Mint & Coriander Leaves – handful
- 🥄 Biryani Masala – 3 tbsp
- 🥛 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- 🧈 Ghee/Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Fry onions until golden brown. Keep aside.
- 🥣 Marinate main ingredient with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and biryani masala for 30 mins.
- 🍚 Layer rice, marinated main ingredient, fried onions, mint, and coriander in a pot.
- 💧 Add water and cook on low heat until rice is cooked and meat is tender.
- ✨ Garnish with saffron (optional) and serve hot.
