Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice – 1 cup soaked
  • 🌱 Urad Dal – 1/2 cup soaked
  • 🌿 Fenugreek Seeds – 1 tsp soaked
  • ⚫ Benne Seeds (Sesame) – 2 tbsp
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥣 Grind soaked rice, dal, and fenugreek into a smooth batter.
  • 🌑 Add sesame seeds and salt to the batter and mix well.
  • ⏳ Let the batter ferment for at least 6-8 hours.
  • 🔥 Heat a griddle or pan and grease it lightly.
  • 🥄 Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a thin circle.
  • 🍳 Cook until golden brown and crisp on both sides. Serve hot.
