Ingredients

  • 🥩 Beef cheeks – 1.5 lbs
  • 🍝 Pasta – 1 lb
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) – to taste
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
  • 🍅 Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🧀 Parmesan cheese – for serving

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear beef cheeks in a pot until browned on all sides.
  • 🧅 Add onions, carrots, and herbs to the pot and cook until softened.
  • 🍷 Deglaze with red wine, then add tomato paste and beef broth.
  • 🥘 Braise beef cheeks in the sauce for 2-3 hours, or until tender.
  • 🍝 Cook pasta according to package directions. Shred beef cheeks and toss with the pasta and sauce. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
