Ingredients
- 🥩 Brisket – 12-14 lb
- 🧂 BBQ Rub – to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika)
- 🪵 Wood Chips – for smoking (hickory or oak)
- 💧 Water or Broth – for moisture
Instructions
- 🔪 Trim excess fat from the brisket.
- 🧂 Generously coat the brisket with BBQ rub.
- 🔥 Smoke the brisket at 225-250°F (107-121°C) for 6-8 hours, maintaining moisture.
- 🌡️ Wrap in butcher paper or foil when the internal temperature reaches 160-170°F (71-77°C).
- 😴 Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 203°F (95°C). Rest for at least 1 hour before slicing against the grain and serving.
