Ingredients
- 🌾 Maida (All-purpose flour) – 2 cups
- 🫘 Urad dal (split black lentils) – 1/2 cup
- 🌶️ Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder) – 2 tsp
- 🌿 Asafoetida (hing) – a pinch
- 🛢️ Oil – for deep frying
Instructions
- 🫘 Soak urad dal, then grind to a paste with spices.
- 🌾 Prepare a dough with maida and a little oil.
- 🥟 Stuff the dough with the dal mixture and shape into kachauris.
- 🔥 Deep fry the kachauris until golden brown and crispy.
- ✨ Serve hot with chutney or aloo sabzi.
