Ingredients
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a few sprigs
- 🌱 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🍋 Lemon – juice of ½ lemon
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil, add onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until golden.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- 🌶️ Add spice powders (turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder) and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 🥘 Add the main ingredient (vegetable/meat/lentils) with water, salt and simmer until cooked.
- 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti. ✨
