Ingredients

  • 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
  • 🌾 All-purpose flour (maida)
  • 🫘 Semolina (sooji)
  • 🌱 Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 🌶️ Spices – to taste
  • 🛢️ Oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Combine flour, semolina, spices, and mashed potatoes to form a dough.
  • 🔪 Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small diamond or square shapes.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan and gently slide in the nimki pieces.
  • 🍳 Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  • 🥡 Remove and drain excess oil, then cool completely before serving.
