Ingredients
- 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
- 🌾 All-purpose flour (maida)
- 🫘 Semolina (sooji)
- 🌱 Carom seeds (ajwain)
- 🌶️ Spices – to taste
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine flour, semolina, spices, and mashed potatoes to form a dough.
- 🔪 Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small diamond or square shapes.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan and gently slide in the nimki pieces.
- 🍳 Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
- 🥡 Remove and drain excess oil, then cool completely before serving.
