Ingredients

  • 🌾 Glutinous Rice – 2 cups
  • 🥓 Pork Belly – 500g, cubed
  • 🍄 Dried Shiitake Mushrooms – 6, soaked
  • 🌰 Chestnuts – 12, peeled
  • 🌿 Bamboo Leaves – 12, soaked
  • 🫘 Mung Beans – 1/2 cup

Instructions

  • 🌾 Soak glutinous rice and mung beans for at least 4 hours.
  • 🥓 Marinate pork belly with soy sauce, sugar, and spices.
  • 🌿 Layer bamboo leaves, add rice, pork, mushrooms, chestnuts, and beans.
  • 📦 Wrap tightly into a pyramid shape and tie with string.
  • 🍲 Boil in water for about 2 hours until fully cooked.
