Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – 3 cups
  • 🍗 Chicken or Lamb – 2 lbs
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Mandi Spice Mix – 2 tbsp
  • 💧 Cooking Oil – 3 tbsp
  • 🌿 Fresh Coriander – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🍚 Soak rice for 30 minutes. Marinate meat with mandi spices.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions and garlic in oil until golden brown.
  • 🍗 Add the marinated meat and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 💧 Add water to cover the meat and cook until tender.
  • 🍚 Add rice and cook until all water is absorbed. Steam until rice is fluffy.
  • 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
