Ingredients
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🧈 Ghee or oil – for cooking
- 🥛 Milk - 2 tbsp (optional for softer dough)
Instructions
- 🥣 Knead a soft dough with flour, water, salt, and milk (if using). Rest for 15 mins.
- 🔪 Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a thin circle.
- 🧈 Apply ghee or oil generously over the rolled circle, then pleat it like a paper fan.
- 🌀 Coil the pleated strip into a spiral shape and flatten gently. Rest for 5 mins.
- 🔥 Roll out the spiral gently into a paratha and cook on a hot griddle until golden brown, using ghee or oil.
