Ingredients
- 🍝 Paccheri pasta – 1 pound
- 🍅 Tomato sauce – 2 cups
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh basil – for garnish
- 🧀 Parmesan cheese – grated, for serving
- 🥩 Ground meat (beef or pork) – 1 pound
- 🍷 Red wine – 1/2 cup
Instructions
- 🔥 Brown ground meat in a large pan. Drain excess fat.
- 🧅 Add chopped onion and garlic to the pan and sauté until softened.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
- 🍅 Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 🍝 Cook paccheri pasta according to package directions. Drain and add to the sauce. Toss to coat.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy!
