Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes 🥔
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 🧅
- 1/4 cup finely chopped ginger 🫚 and garlic 🧄
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 🌿
- 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1 tbsp cashew paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder 🌶️
- 1/4 tsp amchur (dry mango powder)
- Salt to taste 🧂
- 2 tbsp ghee/oil for cooking 🛢️
- Bread slices or crackers for serving 🍞
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, onions, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, gram flour, cashew paste, garam masala, red chili powder, amchur, and salt. Mix well. 🥣
- Divide the mixture into small, round patties. Flatten slightly. 🍘
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. 🔥
- Gently place the patties in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side. ⏳
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. 📄
- Allow the patties to cool slightly. ❄️
- Spread the cooled patties on bread slices or crackers. 🥪
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately. Enjoy! 🎉
