Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
  • 🥕 Mixed Vegetables – 2 cups (carrots, beans, peas)
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, sliced
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Mint Leaves – handful
  • 🌿 Coriander Leaves – handful
  • 🥄 Biryani Masala – 2 tbsp
  • 🍶 Ghee/Oil – 3 tbsp
  • 💧 Water – 4 cups
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🍚 Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  • 🔥 Sauté onions until golden brown, then add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes.
  • 🥕 Add vegetables and biryani masala, cook for 5 minutes.
  • 🍚 Layer rice and vegetable mixture in a pot, add water and lemon juice.
  • 🥘 Cover and cook on low heat until rice is cooked and water is absorbed. Garnish with mint and coriander.
