Vanilla Custard w/ Cookie Dough & Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream 🥛
  • 1 cup whole milk 🥛
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍚
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch 🍚
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 🍦
  • Pinch of salt 🧂
  • 1 cup cookie dough, store-bought or homemade 🍪
  • 4 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped 🥜🍫

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt. 🥣
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon (about 15-20 minutes). 🔥🥄
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly. ♨️
  • Divide the custard among four serving dishes. 🍽️
  • Top each serving with cookie dough pieces and chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. 🍪🥜🍫
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. 🥶
