Ingredients

  • 🥔 Potato – boiled and mashed
  • 🫘 Chickpea flour (besan) – for binding
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped
  • 🌿 Cilantro – chopped
  • 🥄 Spices – turmeric, cumin, coriander powder
  • 🫙 Yogurt – whisked
  • Tamarind chutney – as needed
  • 🌱 Mint chutney – as needed
  • Sev – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥔 Combine mashed potatoes, chickpea flour, onions, chilies, cilantro, and spices. Form into small patties (tikkis).
  • 🔥 Shallow fry or bake the tikkis until golden brown and crispy.
  • 🥣 Arrange tikkis on a plate. Top with yogurt, tamarind chutney, and mint chutney.
  • ✨ Garnish with sev and cilantro. Serve immediately.
