Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs 🐔 chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp 🫒 olive oil
  • 1 tsp 🧂 salt
  • 1/2 tsp 🌶️ black pepper
  • 1 tsp 🧄 garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp 🧅 onion powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream 🥛
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
  • 2 tbsp butter 🧈
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 🌡️
  • 2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. ✨
  • 3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. 🔥
  • 4. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. 🍳
  • 5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. 🍽️
  • 6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 🧈
  • 7. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. 🥣
  • 8. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth until smooth. 🥛
  • 9. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened. ⏳
  • 10. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. 🧀
  • 11. Place chicken breasts back into the skillet with the sauce. 🐔
  • 12. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. ⏲️
