Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs 🐔 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp 🫒 olive oil
- 1 tsp 🧂 salt
- 1/2 tsp 🌶️ black pepper
- 1 tsp 🧄 garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp 🧅 onion powder
- 1 cup heavy cream 🥛
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
- 2 tbsp butter 🧈
- 1 tbsp flour
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 🌡️
- 2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. ✨
- 3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. 🔥
- 4. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. 🍳
- 5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. 🍽️
- 6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 🧈
- 7. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. 🥣
- 8. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth until smooth. 🥛
- 9. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened. ⏳
- 10. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. 🧀
- 11. Place chicken breasts back into the skillet with the sauce. 🐔
