Ingredients
- 🍔 Ground beef – 1/2 lb
- 🧅 Onion – 1 sliced
- 🍞 Rye bread – 4 slices
- 🧀 Swiss cheese – 4 slices
- 🧈 Butter – for grilling
Instructions
- 🔥 Form beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
- 🧅 Caramelize onions in a pan with butter until golden brown.
- 🍳 Cook patties in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- 🍞 Butter one side of each slice of rye bread and place two slices butter-side down in the skillet. Top with cheese, patty, onions, more cheese, and remaining bread (butter-side up).
- 🥪 Grill until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
