Ingredients
- 115g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened 🧈
- 115g (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp) granulated sugar 🍚

- 1 tsp vanilla extract 🍦
- 115g (1 cup) all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1/2 tsp baking powder 🥄
- Pinch of salt 🧂
- Optional: 50g chopped nuts (almonds, pecans) 🌰
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a small loaf pan. 🌡️
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 🧈🍚
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. 🥚🍦
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. 🌾🥄🧂
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. 🥣
- Fold in the chopped nuts, if using. 🌰
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. 🍞
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. 🔥
