Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef or Mutton – 500g, cut into small cubes
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups, soaked and drained
- 🛢️ Mustard Oil – 1/2 cup for authentic aroma
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, thinly sliced
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 5-6 for a spicy kick
- 🧂 Whole Spices – Cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves
- 🥛 Yogurt – 1/2 cup, whisked
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat mustard oil and sauté onions with whole spices until golden brown.
- 🥩 Add meat, ginger-garlic paste, and yogurt, then cook until the meat is tender and oil separates.
- 🍚 Toss in the soaked rice and sauté gently for a few minutes to coat with the aromatics.
- 💧 Pour in warm water, add green chilies, and simmer covered on low heat until rice is fluffy.
- ✨ Rest for ten minutes, fluff with a fork, and serve hot with salad.
