Tarama with Za’atar

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Tarama (salted and cured fish roe) 🐟
- 1/4 cup Olive oil 🫒
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice 🍋
- 1 clove Garlic, minced 🧄
- 1/4 cup Warm water 💧
- Pinch of salt 🧂
- Pinch of white pepper
- 2 tbsp Za'atar spice blend 🌱
- Pita bread or crackers, for serving 🥖
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the tarama, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Pulse until smooth. 🥣
- Gradually add the warm water, a tablespoon at a time, until the mixture reaches a creamy, spreadable consistency. 💧
- Season with a pinch of salt and white pepper to taste. Remember tarama is already salty! 🧂
- Transfer the tarama dip to a serving bowl. 🍲
- Sprinkle generously with za'atar spice blend. 🌱
- Serve immediately with warm pita bread or crackers. 🥖 Enjoy! 🎉
