Ingredients
- 🍅 Tomatoes – finely chopped
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – chopped (optional)
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🍋 Lemon juice – to taste
- 🫘 Chickpea flour (besan) – 2 tbsp
- 🫙 Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder)
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed (optional)
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🍅 Add chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
- 🌶️ Add spices and chickpea flour, mix well.
- 💧 Add water gradually to achieve desired consistency.
- 🥔 (Optional) Add mashed potatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and a squeeze of 🍋 lemon juice before serving.
