Ingredients
- 🧀 Farmer's Cheese (Tvorog) – 400g, well-drained
- 🥚 Egg – 1 large, lightly beaten
- 🍚 Flour – 3-4 tbsp plus extra for coating
- 🍬 Sugar – 2 tbsp for sweetness
- 🧂 Salt – a tiny pinch
- 🧈 Butter or Oil – for frying
- 🍓 Sour cream or Jam – for serving
Instructions
- 🥣 Mash the cheese in a bowl and mix with egg, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- 🌾 Add flour gradually and stir until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- 🥯 Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into thick, round discs.
- 🍳 Dust discs with flour and fry in a greased pan over medium-low heat until golden.
- ✨ Flip carefully to cook both sides and serve warm with a topping of choice.
