Ingredients
- 🥩 Pork Shoulder – 2 lbs, cubed
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🥓 Bacon – 4 slices, chopped
- 🌿 Herbs – Rosemary, Thyme (optional)
- 🍷 Red Wine – 1 cup (optional)
- 🦴 Chicken or Pork Stock – 2 cups
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🥓 Fry bacon until crispy, remove and set aside, leaving fat in the pot.
- 🥩 Brown pork in bacon fat, then remove and set aside.
- 🧅 Sauté onion and garlic until softened, deglaze with red wine (if using).
- 🥘 Return pork to pot, add stock, herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer until tender.
- ✨ Garnish with crispy bacon and serve hot with your favorite sides.
