Ingredients

  • 🥩 Pork Shoulder – 2 lbs, cubed
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🥓 Bacon – 4 slices, chopped
  • 🌿 Herbs – Rosemary, Thyme (optional)
  • 🍷 Red Wine – 1 cup (optional)
  • 🦴 Chicken or Pork Stock – 2 cups
  • 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥓 Fry bacon until crispy, remove and set aside, leaving fat in the pot.
  • 🥩 Brown pork in bacon fat, then remove and set aside.
  • 🧅 Sauté onion and garlic until softened, deglaze with red wine (if using).
  • 🥘 Return pork to pot, add stock, herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer until tender.
  • ✨ Garnish with crispy bacon and serve hot with your favorite sides.
