Ingredients
- 🍚 Sticky rice – 2 cups
- 🍗 Chicken thighs – 1 lb, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 🥔 Potato starch – for coating
- 🍶 Soy sauce – for marinade
- 🫚 Ginger – grated, for marinade
- 🍶 Mirin – for glaze
- 🍯 Honey – for glaze
- 🌱 Sesame seeds – for garnish
Instructions
- 🍚 Prepare sticky rice according to package instructions.
- 🍗 Marinate chicken in soy sauce and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
- 🥔 Coat marinated chicken in potato starch.
- 🔥 Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy.
- 🍯 In a separate pan, make a glaze with mirin and honey. Toss fried chicken in glaze.
- 🌱 Serve chicken over sticky rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
