Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour 🍚
- 1/4 cup tapioca starch
- 3 cups water 💧
- 1/2 tsp salt 🧂
- Vegetable oil (for greasing)
- Dried shrimp, ground 🍤
- Crispy fried shallots 🧅
- Mung bean paste (optional)
- Nuoc Cham dipping sauce 🌶️
Instructions
- Mix rice flour, tapioca starch, water, and salt in a bowl. Stir until smooth. 🥣
- Grease small ramekins or shallow bowls with vegetable oil. 🧈
- Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins. 🥄
- Steam for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cakes are translucent and set. ♨️
- Let cool slightly before removing from the ramekins. ❄️
- Top with dried shrimp, crispy fried shallots, and mung bean paste (if using). ✨
- Serve with Nuoc Cham dipping sauce. 🍜
