Ingredients
- 🍝 Rigatoni pasta – 1 pound
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1 tsp (or to taste)
- 🍅 Tomato paste – 6 oz can
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 1/2 cup
- 🍹 Vodka – 1/4 cup
- 🧀 Parmesan cheese – grated, for serving
- 🌿 Fresh basil – for garnish
Instructions
- 🍝 Cook rigatoni according to package directions.
- 🧅 Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until softened. Add red pepper flakes.
- 🍅 Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes. Deglaze with vodka.
- 🥛 Add heavy cream and simmer until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- 🍝 Toss cooked rigatoni with the sauce. Garnish with parmesan and basil. Enjoy! ✨
