Spicy Pork Broth

Ingredients

  • 🍖 Pork shoulder – 1 lb, cubed
  • 🌶️ Chili flakes – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, sliced
  • 🌿 Ginger – 1 inch piece, minced
  • 🍜 Broth – 6 cups (chicken or vegetable)
  • 🧂 Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • 🥬 Bok choy – 1 cup, chopped

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear pork in a pot until browned on all sides.
  • 🧅 Add onion, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Sauté until fragrant.
  • 🥕 Add carrots and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 🧂 Stir in soy sauce and bok choy. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
  • 🍜 Serve hot and garnish with extra chili flakes if desired.
