Ingredients

  • 🌾 Flour – 500g (bread flour recommended)
  • 💧 Water – 350g (lukewarm)
  • 🥄 Sourdough Starter – 100g (active)
  • 🧂 Salt – 10g

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mix sourdough starter with water, then add flour and salt. Mix until just combined.
  • ⏳ Let rest for 30 mins (autolyse).
  • 💪 Knead for 5-10 mins until smooth and elastic.
  • ⏰ Bulk ferment for several hours, folding every 30-60 mins.
  • 🥖 Shape into a loaf, proof in a banneton, then bake at 450°F (232°C) with steam.
