Ingredients
- 🌾 Sourdough starter – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – 1.5 cups
- 🍞 Bread flour – 4 cups
- 🍚 Sugar – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt – 1.5 tsp
- 🍯 Honey – for boiling
- ✨ Toppings – sesame seeds, poppy seeds etc.
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine starter, water, flour, sugar, and salt. Knead well.
- ⏳ Let dough rise for several hours or overnight.
- 🔪 Divide dough into 6 pieces and shape into bagels.
- 🍯 Boil bagels in honey water for 1-2 minutes per side.
- 🔥 Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
