Ingredients

  • 🦪 Fresh clams – 1 lb
  • 🥓 Bacon – 2 slices, diced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1/2, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
  • 🌿 Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • 🥂 White wine – 1/4 cup
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🥓 Fry bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside, leaving bacon fat in the pan.
  • 🧅 Sauté onion and garlic in bacon fat until softened.
  • 🥂 Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up any browned bits.
  • 🦪 Add clams and smoked paprika, cover, and cook until clams open (about 5-7 minutes).
  • 🌿 Stir in butter and parsley. Garnish with crispy bacon. Serve immediately.
