Ingredients
- 🫘 Chana (Chickpeas) – 1 cup, boiled
- 🧅 Onion – ½ cup, finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped (optional)
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🌮 Chari/Roti – 2-3
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Spices (cumin, coriander, turmeric) – to taste
Instructions
- 🥣 Mash the boiled chana coarsely.
- 🔥 Sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste until golden brown.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes, green chilies (if using), and spices; cook until the tomatoes soften.
- 🥘 Add the mashed chana, salt, and lemon juice. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- 🌮 Warm the chari/roti, fill with the chana mixture, garnish with coriander, and serve immediately.
