Ingredients
- Cooked multigrain rice
- Dried Siraegi (radish greens)
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Garlic, minced
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- Carrot, julienned
- Spinach, blanched
- Yellow pickled radish (Danmuji)
- Korean Gim (seaweed sheets)
- Sesame seeds: for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Siraegi: Soak dried siraegi in warm water for 30 mins. Boil until tender. Drain and chop finely. 🥬
- Season Siraegi: Mix chopped siraegi with soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and gochujang.🌶️
- Prepare Vegetables: Julienne carrot and blanch spinach. Slice danmuji.🥕
- Assemble Gimbap: Place a sheet of gim on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread a thin layer of multigrain rice evenly, leaving about an inch at the top edge.🍚
- Add Fillings: Arrange seasoned siraegi, carrot, spinach, and danmuji on top of the rice. 🥬🥕
- Roll Gimbap: Using the bamboo mat, roll the gimbap tightly from the bottom up. Moisten the top edge of the gim with water to seal. 🍙
- Slice and Serve: Slice the gimbap into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy! 🥢
