Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas (chole) – soaked overnight
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🥔 Potatoes – diced (optional)
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🧂 Spices (turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala)
Instructions
- 🥘 Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas until tender.
- 🔥 Sauté onions until golden brown, then add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
- 🍅 Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
- 🧂 Add spices and cook for a few minutes, then add potatoes (if using) and boiled chickpeas.
- 🌿 Simmer until the gravy thickens. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
