Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 4 cups
- 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup, soaked
- 🍬 Sugar – to taste
- 🌰 Almonds – slivered, for garnish
- 🍇 Raisins – for garnish
- 🟢 Cardamom – 4-5 pods, crushed
- 💧 Ghee – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 🍚 Grind the soaked rice into a coarse paste.
- 🥛 Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and add the rice paste. Sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.
- 🔥 Gradually add milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer.
- 🟢 Add cardamom pods and sugar. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
- 🌰 Garnish with almonds and raisins. Serve Sheer Pira warm or chilled.
