Ingredients
- 🥐 Croissants – 2
- 🍅 Canned Tomatoes – 1 can, diced
- 🧅 Onion – 1, chopped
- 🫑 Bell Pepper – 1, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🥚 Eggs – 2
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro) – for garnish
- 🧀 Feta cheese – crumbled (optional)
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onion and bell pepper in a pan until softened.
- 🧄 Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- 🍅 Stir in diced tomatoes and spices. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- 🍳 Create wells in the sauce and crack eggs into each well. Cook until eggs are set to your liking.
- 🥐 While the shakshuka simmers, gently warm the croissants.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh herbs and feta cheese (optional). Serve shakshuka with the warm croissants for dipping.
