Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
  • 🥕 Mixed Vegetables – 1 cup (carrots, peas, beans)
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, thinly sliced
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌿 Whole Spices – (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon)
  • 🥛 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
  • 💧 Water or Vegetable Broth – 4 cups
  • 🍃 Fresh Mint & Cilantro – for garnish
  • 🥄 Ghee – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat ghee in a pot, add whole spices and sauté for a minute.
  • 🧅 Add onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
  • 🥕 Add mixed vegetables and yogurt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • 🍚 Add rice and water/broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered until rice is cooked.
  • 🍃 Garnish with fresh mint and cilantro. Serve hot.
