Ingredients
- 🌾 Wheat – 1 cup
- 🥩 Mutton/Beef – 500g
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🫘 Lentils – 1/2 cup mixed
- 🌶️ Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala) – to taste
- 💧 Ghee/Oil – for cooking
- 🍋 Lemon wedges – for garnish
- 🌿 Fresh cilantro – for garnish
Instructions
- 🌾 Soak wheat and lentils overnight.
- 🥩 Cook meat with ginger-garlic paste and spices until tender.
- 🧅 Sauté onions in ghee until golden brown.
- 🥘 Combine meat, wheat, and lentils; cook on low heat for several hours, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a porridge-like consistency.
- ✨ Garnish with fried onions, lemon wedges, and cilantro; serve hot.
