Ingredients

  • 🥩 Mutton/Beef – 500g
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
  • 🫘 Lentils – 1/2 cup mixed
  • 🌶️ Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🌿 Spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala) – to taste
  • 💧 Ghee/Oil – for cooking
  • 🍋 Lemon wedges – for garnish
  • 🌿 Fresh cilantro – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🌾 Soak wheat and lentils overnight.
  • 🥩 Cook meat with ginger-garlic paste and spices until tender.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions in ghee until golden brown.
  • 🥘 Combine meat, wheat, and lentils; cook on low heat for several hours, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a porridge-like consistency.
  • ✨ Garnish with fried onions, lemon wedges, and cilantro; serve hot.
