Ingredients
- Cavatelli pasta 🍝 – 1 pound
- Italian sausage 🌭 – 1 pound, removed from casing
- Onion 🧅 – 1 medium, chopped
- Garlic 🧄 – 2 cloves, minced
- Tomato sauce 🍅 – 24 ounces
- Grated Parmesan cheese 🧀 – for serving
- Olive oil 🫒 – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat olive oil in a large pan, add sausage, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- 🧅 Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened.
- 🍅 Stir in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 🍝 Cook cavatelli according to package directions. Drain and add to the sauce.
