Ingredients

  • Cavatelli pasta 🍝 – 1 pound
  • Italian sausage 🌭 – 1 pound, removed from casing
  • Onion 🧅 – 1 medium, chopped
  • Garlic 🧄 – 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce 🍅 – 24 ounces
  • Grated Parmesan cheese 🧀 – for serving
  • Olive oil 🫒 – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat olive oil in a large pan, add sausage, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  • 🧅 Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened.
  • 🍅 Stir in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 🍝 Cook cavatelli according to package directions. Drain and add to the sauce.
