Ingredients

  • 🐔 Young chicken – 1 whole
  • 🍚 Glutinous rice – ½ cup
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves
  • 🌰 Dried jujubes – 4
  • 🌱 Korean ginseng – 1 root
  • 💧 Water – 6 cups
  • 🟢 Green onion – for garnish
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🍚 Rinse the glutinous rice and soak in water for 30 minutes.
  • 🐔 Clean the chicken and stuff with rice, garlic, jujubes, and ginseng.
  • 🥘 Place the stuffed chicken in a pot with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  • 🧂 Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 🟢 Garnish with green onion and serve hot.
