Ingredients
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – 2 1/2 cups
- 🧈 Unsalted butter – 1 cup, softened
- 🥛 Cream cheese – 8 oz, softened
- 🍬 Granulated sugar – 1/4 cup
- 🍓 Jam – 1/2 cup (e.g., raspberry, apricot)
- 🌰 Nuts – 1/2 cup, chopped (e.g., walnuts, pecans)
- ✨ Cinnamon – 1 tsp
- 🥚 Egg – 1, for egg wash
Instructions
- 🥣 In a large bowl, combine flour, butter, and cream cheese until a dough forms.
- ❄️ Divide dough into 4 parts, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out each dough portion into a circle.
- 🍓 Spread jam and sprinkle nuts and cinnamon over each circle. Cut into 8 wedges.
- 🌀 Roll up each wedge from the wide end to the point. Place on a baking sheet.
- 🥚 Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
